WRITE ON, RENTON

An evening of reading, writing, and creative cavorting with Renton-area writers. Members of the Tipsy Typers, a local writing group, will kick things off with a series of short readings from their work. The second half of the evening, the readers and audience transform into creative participants. Led by teaching artist Kate Swenson from ConFab Arts, we’ll explore different ways to play on the page with fun prompts, challenges, and writing time designed to connect and inspire. Great for established writers and total beginners. An inspiring, artistic launch into a creative new year—let’s get lit, Renton!

December 31 from 6:00-7:30 pm

November 2024 Write-O-Rama was a huge success with writers from Renton, the Eastside, Seattle, and even Sequim gathering to get words on the page and mingle with fellow wordsmiths. Thank you for everyone who volunteered, donated, and showed up with open hearts and flowing words.
