Got the call this weekend. My short story, Platform Driven, is a finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Contest! It's an honor to find myself in such great company with my fellow finalist--including two of my beloved critique partners.

The one sentence description is: A Gen Z influencer joins the Old Girls Club.
Platform Driven packs a lot into a few short pages, it's comedic, cautionary, and creepy AF. (As the kids say--I think.)
The original version of this story was generated as part of the NYC Midnight Short Story contest in 2023. I've gotten a great selection of short stories from my NYC participation that I've used for the PNWA contest, I've got a first place win, a finalist, and this year--who knows?
Looking forward to attending the PNWA conference and award's ceremony in September. This year I'm teaching a class. More on that later!
